NEW DRIVERS
Our New 6 1/2” speaker driver cones are made from a pulp comprising of paper, hemp, kapok and wool with an engineered fibre resulting in a very lightweight but stiff driver cone, then sprayed with surface sealant. These new Midrange and Bass drivers developed for the Series 6 Range effectively minimise breakup and roll off resonance. Then partnered with an all New low distortion soft dome tweeter which has a resonance well below 900Hz and the desired phase characteristics of a gently inclined sound pressure level frequency response to over 30Khz.
NEW CROSS-OVERS
These New improved Drivers allowed us to take a New crossover design approach minimising the number of components required in the signal path. High-quality acoustic polypropylene caps with air cored and ferrite cored inductors for the midrange and top end circuits were chosen with a huge laminated core inductor feeding the bass on the WIZARD S6.
CONNECTORS
Richter Series 6 speakers all use our New heavy-duty, high-Quality gold-plated speaker terminal connectors which can accept a variety of connector types including: bare wire, pin connectors, spade connectors and banana plugs.

Wizard S6
I have been on the “Hi Fi” merry go round for many years, speaker after speaker and the cost always rising. All I wanted was a speaker that didn’t burn out my ears after an hour but be entertaining at the same time. Seems it was a hard ask as I went through many. I was again tempted to upgrade and spend north of 6k. I decided to take a different approach and see what Australia companies have to offer. Richter came up many times on my search so decided to give them a go and bought the wizards. Only early days yet giving them a burn in but WOW …. For the price these are amazing, even for another 2k on top they are still amazing. Easy listening but captivating at the same time. My room sucks up the bass so I’m not getting that big bass from these speakers but I have a rel to keep that in check. Great packaging, fit and finish and sound… well done Richter you have a new fan for life.
I’m now about 70-80 hours in and they just keep improving!! The bass has opened up so much so I had to turn my subwoofer down a few notches. Guys seriously you have done a great job. I don’t like to name and shame so all I will say is I had an expensive pair of European bookshelf speakers and these just sh!t all over them. I have them playing 6-7 hours a day on the weekends just really good genuine speakers!!

I purchased these Wizard S6 from True HiFi Albury as part of a long-overdue upgrade of my surround speakers, which they are paired with Merlin S6 down back and Thor sub. Standing alone the dynamic range, depth of sound and tonal balance of these is as close to utopia as I can imagine and provides an incredibly accurate sound stage whether listening to music or home theatre. When in full theatre mode, I kid you not, it sounds as though you could reach out and touch something flying across the room. I absolutely love them!
I don’t normally write reviews, but loving the Wizard S6 speakers. Half the price of the old speakers, double the quality. Now happy to leave the TV off and listen to music as it should sound.

Just received my S6 Wizards, used as surround speakers, to complement my S5 bi-amped Dragons, fronts, and S1 Harlequins, surround backs. My 7.1.2 sound system is now complete. Fabulous clear, crisp sound from the Richters and couldn’t be happier.
