    What a ripper of a DAB+ radio !

Over the years I have purchased probably a shelf full of compact radios to use in the Bathroom, but this one takes the prize. The sound is so clear that my two year old Grandson thought that there was a strange man in the Bathroom when in fact it was the Richter Core+ radio with the news bulletin !

I was wondering if i need to set the time on this RR26 radio or does it update automatically?
Also, do you know anyone that has any of the RR26 in stock please?

Is it a design feature that all settings are lost when there is any break in mains power, even when batteries are installed? The general operation and sound quality is great, but the loss of settings with even a minor power flicker is frustrating.

Hi Jon, no its not a design feature and it sounds like your radio might have a software issue, if you would like to post the radio to us we’ll check and fix and post it back to you, Regards Brian

Hi Paul, if you are located in a DAB+ Broadcast area then the time and date will be updated from the DAB+ radio broadcast, so there’s no need to set the time and date or change for daylight saving. If you are not in a DAB Broadcast area then you will need to manually set the time and date. You can check your post code for DAB+ Coverage here: https://www.digitalradioplus.com.au/can-i-get-digital-radio we have been out of stock for a while due to component shortages but we have more stock about to be shipped so stock should be back on the shelves at Harvey Norman or Officeworks later next month.

Perfect size, nice and compact. Great sound, easy to operate. I panicked slightly when the screen display started to flicker but then I realised the flickering was a low battery indicator. Very happy with this radio.

A good kitchen radio for areas with DAB+ services. The new display is a plus and the extra presets are welcome. Just one suggestion – a 90° power jack (that did not protrude at the rear) would make it more convenient to place on a narrow shelf.

This is quite simply the best digital radio I have owned.. and I have been through a few as I tried to find the perfect number. Simple operation, great sound, and easy on the batteries. I run mine on rechargeables. I have not had to use it on mains power, but did buy it because it does not use a phone lead to operate. EVERY (3) dig radio I have had previously that used a micro usb is now in the bin. The connector breaks. But this one is perfect – Thanks folks!

This radio works as an FM radio. However it picks up no digital stations at all as.i live on the Gold Coast and do not live in a major capital city. Sound quality is ok, as is build quality. Screen is a nice touch with FM rds.

Only had the radio for a short time, but my wife is very happy with it so far. Easy to set up & it works exactly as we’d hoped & expected.

      Well done Richter.
