"Does this radio have AM so that I can listen to AM stations?"
If you're in a DAB broadcast area, you'll receive AM stations in better quality through the Digital DAB broadcast, along with additional program information. The radio does not receive AM stations via the old AM broadcast band. However, if you're outside a DAB broadcast area, you won't receive AM stations, but you will still get FM stations.

Love my Richter, got two of them actually. No problems to use as far as I’m concerned…. Great sound. Love the U.S.B. feature, you can stop it at any time, and it will play from where it was stopped, (Win Win ) ) unlike a lot of others they go back to the start ….
A good radio overall, not terribly intuitive to use, but my main issue is the faulty volume control. My unit is only a few months old but already when I want to change the volume, 90% of the time it does not respond, the knob turns but the volume doesn’t change. Very annoying. The battery life is just ok.
Hi John, if radio is only a few months old and there’s an issue with the volume control you do have a 12 month warranty.

Have to say learning to use all the functions to some time. Tuning into dab stations and reception was good. The sound is excellent food its size. I would recommend this radio to my friends. I think possibly it could be a bit less fiddly to get to alarm functions. Over all value for money sound and reception . Great. I still have not figured out to keep screen off. Turn it off and an after a while it comes back on. But that’s probably me not getting something right.
I echo the words of M.Carlo in that DAB tuning is certainly not as intuitive as one would expect and even trying to follow the DAB tuning instructions by the book is still not straightforward..
I have managed to find and store our ABC station but as yet having NO success in finding anything else (and I AM in a good DAB reception area.
Sound wise it is a good sound from the very adequate speaker but an earpiece socket would have been a very handy addition.
Overall it is a handy size radio and with a good sized digital clock too, ….but.apart from the above-mentioned little negatives,..its a nice little radio.
