The Aurora Series 7 Special Edition features the all-new S7SE driver designs for greater realism and emotional connection. A new SE Teardrop 25 mm soft-dome tweeter and 70 mm mid-dome deliver smooth dispersion and lifelike detail, seamlessly blended with a custom mid-bass driver. Using rigid paper-pulp cones in cast-alloy baskets, larger voice coils, and greater excursion, this combination provides tight, dynamic control — crafted to move you.
ADVANCED 3-WAY CROSSOVER NETWORK
The Aurora S7SE employs a newly developed 3-way crossover network, meticulously engineered for precision, control, and musicality. Dedicated circuits feed the SE teardrop tweeter, mid-dome, and 6½-inch bass driver, ensuring smooth transitions, accurate timing, and cohesive driver integration. This carefully balanced architecture allows the Aurora to deliver the openness, natural vocal clarity, and expressive midrange detail of a true dedicated 3-way design, while preserving the energy, balance, and emotional connection that define the Richter Series 7 Special Edition sound.

A True 3-Way Standmount Design
Unlike the more common 2-way bookshelf speaker, Aurora S7SE uses a dedicated 3-way driver architecture, allowing the treble, midrange and bass to each be handled by a driver optimised for its specific role.
At its heart is Richter’s Special Edition driver array, combining the 25 mm SE Teardrop soft-dome tweeter with a dedicated 70 mm soft-dome midrange driver for smooth, open and naturally detailed vocals and treble. A dedicated 165 mm bass driver provides surprising depth, control and musical authority from Aurora’s compact cabinet.
A carefully developed 3-way crossover network integrates the three drivers seamlessly, preserving natural timing, tonal balance and the emotional connection that defines the Richter sound.
The result is a 3-way standmount loudspeaker with excellent vocal clarity, precise imaging, a wide soundstage and a sense of scale that belies its physical size.
