Refined Through Better Design

Premium Tweeter
Borrowed from Richter’s premium Special Edition range, the new tweeter delivers higher sensitivity, a lower resonance frequency and greater power handling. The result is a cleaner, more open and more engaging presentation, with a new level of clarity that feels like lifting a veil from the music.
Improved Drivers
The new 6½-inch mid/bass driver developed for the Merlin S6plus delivers worthwhile gains over the previous design, with particular improvement through the critical midband around 1kHz. Non-linear distortion has also been reduced by around 10%, contributing to a smoother, cleaner and more natural presentation. The result is better clarity, improved integration and a more refined listening experience across music and movies.

Loving the crisp sound and perfect for my living room! Highly recommend
These bookshelf speakers way out-perform what I was expecting at this price point. I have been missing good music for quite some years ‘because I couldn’t afford new good speakers’ and now I have an amazing music system again. The bass is rich and the sound is full all the way through the range. With a very eclectic range of music enjoyment, it all plays beautifully on my Merlin S6plus speakers. Oh, and the TV, blu ray player and streamed movies sound great too. Even without a ‘perfect’ room setup, these speakers bring all the sounds to life. Thanks for giving me an awesome music experience again – it really makes a difference.
We live in a forest deep in the Palani hills in Tamil Nadu, India. And ever since these gorgeous speakers were set up, these hills are alive ( quite literally !) with the sound of the Merlin Series S6 Plus.
And what a magnificent sound! Great depth, a beautifully focused sound stage, and as one of the reviewers put it, superb musicality.
A friend had come over the other day and we played Beethoven’s 5th from the Pletnev cycle – really loud. These apparently small speakers belied their size and punched well above budgetary weight. They handled the challenging harmonic range of the 1st movement with great aplomb. Every section of the movement was crystal clear with the sound stage revealing the details of the depth of the orchestra. It really did feel, to regurgitate an audiophile cliche, like we were right there in the concert hall. As my friend, a classical music buff said, “ These boys just powered right through.”
Venky, who is the India distributor for Richter is a dear friend and has been my audio partner for well over 2 decades had paired the Merlin S6 plus with a Creek 4040 CD and Creek 4040 A. They get along very well. Boom, like that.
In short, Venky has delighted us once again.And these beautiful speakers have a new fan.
